This has been an extremely difficult lesson to learn, as fundamental as it now seems.  Very few people will ever be able to respond....that is a cold hard fact.  Point well made.  Thanks for a good read.

The parallels are inescapable!!

since life "transformed" while 'dying' in the O.R. in the greatransformative year of 2000, i been completely unable to follow such pimple-simple sanitary advice, thus b'comin thee kindliest pariah,ghost,specter that y'll pro'babbly never have to 'meet' in any semblance of our faux reality....i'm so 'transparent' that people silently (unconsciously/subconsciously/ disconsciously/anticosciously) freak when in actual proximity, seemingly a'feared that eye am somekinda reflex'ion of the transparency of the shallow, eveready2squirt, puss'pockets of our collective "soul" that they need to hide (O, clearasil!) at any expense......

Yes, well, the poem states faux advice as an excuse for drawing the metaphor.
In whatever reality we reside there is really no 'need' (as stated in the poem)
to do any of this. BUT yes, the conceit, the folly, IS reassuring.

Funny but hardcore truth. An artiste is one who bears harsh criticism and remains unaffected and continues...
