The UNDERDOG*Chicago featuring jaito*
JAITO
I started out with some papers in my room
Thats what I used to write my poems of doom
No one cared, they thought I was a fool
No one bothered that I was too big to be cool
That time is over, my powers have zoomed
Its not even my poem, each single word I place and use
Its too beautiful, I got friends across the world who fuse
I got fans who follow me like Im a king on the rule
All ratings go to my side, this time no more blues
I am no longer that useless kid they hated, Im huge
My wings fly me up to the sky, Im the greatest underdog, real with no fools.
CHRISTIAN FALCO*chicago*
It started off for me, locked up and kicking dope
Consumed with my own murder, hanging from a rope
Someone hooked me up with a pencil and a pad
I put the lead to paper to prevent from going mad
Daily journaling became a therapy of rhyme
It helped through the withdrawal and passed the creeping time
Went back to shooting smack many times throughout the years
Writing on and off as it helped me calm my fears
The habits finally gone, Im living my life clean
The fears are kept at bay, now I write to stay serene.
