Feeling so low,
Where happiness should glow,
Only the shadows creeping in,
Whisper to me to do the ultimate sin,
I try to chase them away,
Though failing to keep them at bay,
Sadness flows over me,
Like the waves on the sea,
Full of torment and pain,
Buckling under the strain,
Too much pressure weighing heavily,
Wanting to curl up in a ball so no one will see,
Feeling the walls closing in,
Maybe I should just let it win,
Fall back into my hole,
Throw away my soul,
As well as my heart,
Not wanting to make a new start,
Just want the world to just go away,
Forever and a day,
Maybe love is not for me,
I should just let it be a distant memory,
Can't seem to see the end of the fight,
No end in sight,
Just darkness waiting patiently,
