this spirit never rest

While wearing a smile of contentment
this spirit is vile..and full of resentment
Always plotting you can be sure...
and in its presence you should never feel secure
 
Though one may be deceived by its appearance of light
when in truth this spirit has a soul dark as the night
it was born...in the pit of despair
it is forlorn and only pretends to care
 
Always feeling forsaken this entity is filled with rage
taking the term vendetta to another level and page
Always appearing docile...and sweet
siphoning the pain of others is really how it eats...

As she sits upon her throne of ancient and old
shape shifting... duplicitous in nature powerful...
and able to bend the soul

Appearing to be...whatever one desires...
unbeknownst to it's victims...
This fiend is malevolent by choice...
taking pleasure in manipulating the souls of the innocent

While believing that none may be pardoned
Mercy being a foreign word upon its tongue
