Emotions
Sadness and anger are things I will feel
Envy towards people who don't have to fear
Little kids who have moms that don't look in disgust
Forward at me, my scars, and my cuts.
Mutilation is a funny word
Used as a verb in this context.
To cut your skin to the point of severe bleeding.
I'd cut and scratch at myself until my arms were raw
Lie in my bed until the wounds closed
Again I'd open them, so they'd scar nicely enough to be seen
Till my mom saw my arms and legs one day..
I was moody most days
On drugs the rest
Now I'm clean though
That's all that matters...

My childhood was miserable, foster homes ,group homes, mental wards, reform schools ,prison.
and they wonder why young men and women do the things they do. Now I have no way of knowing whether this very good piece of work was about self, but if It was I can relate. Really all I can offer is the truth that in time you'll conqure even the most saddening of events, I seldom smile, even though I'm in love with the girl[woman] of my dreams, and am very much loved in return.but I truly am happy ,one day so will you. I,ll be reading, if you keep writing. Sabbath
