Our Warrior Queen
the Warrior Queen lives by her knives
always enjoying taking another's life or a whole group of lives
she thought she was happy giving other's pain
but one day she realized living this way was no longer sane
all her friends were dead
and all her enemies were coming closer and closer to claiming her head
her knives and weapons of war were no longer just what she wanted from this life
she wanted to try out love, maybe be a mans wife?
assassins were always knocking on her door
and her so called friends were always calling her a stupid whore
her hourglass was running out of sand
and suddenly she knew she needed to find herself a man
but only one man would ever do
a man who followed a forgotten God, The Prince Of Peace it's true
some would laugh at Our Warrior Queen
say she was stupid for giving up her sinces keen
but no one knows Our Warrior Queen
she looks quite normal in the light
but you just can't tell that such a person is a blood thirsty Queen of Killers at night
Our Warrior Queen was born and raised to fight
she runs so fast, almost like she's about to take flight
Our Warrior Queen is a warrior no more
she is no longer the blood thirsty monarch we once did adore
she's given away all her knives
and has repented for taking all those lives
where is Our Queen?
where is our lovely blood thirsty warrior that was once so deliciously mean?
Our Warrior Queen is a warrior no more
Our Queen has chosen to walk through God's Door
she has lost her bloody edge
and has jumped off insanity's ledge
into the sea of humanity
Our once proud Queen now knows humility
Our Warrior queen, Our Warrior Queen you have abandoned us so
Our Warrior Queen Our Warrior Queen who shall lead us now?
you left us without any no how
should we follow our warrior queen's lead
ditch our weapons and our war steeds ?
what will we do if we follow our queen into the light?
how will we forget that we once made our living by the way of a fight?
Our Warrior Queen, Our Warrior Queen what will you have your people do?
would you have us follow you?

A spectacular poem that expresses the importance of peace rather than war, and love rather than hate. Your Warrior Queen found her peace in finding God, and perhaps the twist at the end is that her people will come to follow her example and do the same. A great write, like so many of your poems are! I enjoyed reading it very much.
