Forbid

My heart still palpatates
when you're on me.

Each side of my blood vessels
shiver from the closeness.

Oh, to see you on me, the
places we're in unfocus and
focus with each press, pinch,
and slap.

You forget I'm younger so
easily when your eyes close
and mine follow suit.

Am I supposed to be this
dizzy? This numb? I can't
feel the burning release of
a steam valve overhead, false
tears falling on my cheeks
press against it, hushing
monotone muscles.
