Reflection (Old Friend)

Hey there, old friend, It's been a while
I see you're changing much like me
unfamiliar reflection who is this man I see?
This mirror's cracked and smudged leaving my reflection in blurry fragments
How suiting
I can only wish to make sense of what I'm seeing
Hey there, old friend, it's been some time now
I see you're broken just like me
I cut my hand on the broken mirror as I wipe away the dust
Blood stained reflection
Painted red fragments
Now I'll never see that familiar face again
Now I may never know who's staring back
Clear away these imperfections
Let my reflection shine through
Let it be so I can Identify who it is I'm truly looking at
Pushing past these imperfections
Trying to make sense of everything
Blood and dust blur out this reflection
Old familiar friend please come back to me
