Do Not Tell Me I Do Not Care

I care more then you simple minded people can imagine
I care when your hurting but what am I supposed to do
when you never listen when I tell you what to do to Help Yourself
your drama is not my own, your demons aren't mine
and if you are not going to listen to me I'm just wasting my time
I care more about you then you yourself do
and I can't stand to see you hurting, but what am I supposed to do
when I am not the one meant to save you
you can only save yourself
quit depending on me, I am not strong enough to be leaned on
yes I will always be there for you help and give advice when I can
but if you don't listen to me then don't get angry if I just stop telling you the same thing again and again
and you continuing to choose not to listen to my words
I can only help those who can help themselves
you need professional help because I just can't help you
you drain me of my energy, mentally and physically
listening to you go through the same things again and again
is making me sick, I'm your friend not your therapist
I can't support your weight
I care but I can't help you
if you cant even help yourself
I can not save you but you won't listen to me
