Society's Broken

Girls and Boys,
all have ambitions,
skinny, tall, muscular,
the perfect human being.

If you are ugly, no friends, but a true heart,
if you are pretty, tons of friends, but fake.

Society ruins the minds of girls and boys,
destroying the innocent mind,
from kind and caring words,
to words of curse and hurt.

We always told ourselves
we would not become this way if we tried.
But, our nation has changed,
we were once the best,
but now we are none but less,

we aren't the greatest ones anymore,
there are others to adore.

It is just ruining us,
so go on and take the bus,
travel far away from here,
I'm just saying this loud and clear,
find someone else who will take care of you,
because we can't do it anymore,
our pride and confidence,
controls us, and contains us,
into a country,
of unworthy.
