Im not sure how to take that? It seems to be a poem in the first 7 facts. But then it kinda changes to a more opinionated essay. I think it's alright to have opinions, but maybe not to express them in such an obvious form. Define your feelings through metapor's and cleverness. That's what I'd like to see :) I think you could be a really good writer if you set your mind to it. But who knows, I have only read this poem of yours. You should post some more :) I will definatly read them.

This was written for the poll, not necessarily in your idea of traditional poetry of course. Just something to get people involved in the site, to comment and post. Now, what i wonder would your opinion be of the people here writing lyrics, not poems??? I think that a poem MUST rhyme and be in perfect verse to be considered worthy of the name to your artist heart. That is your "Right to Reason." You should have added a line mam!
In closing, Your work is traditional and good. I will read it!
Suggestion: Read Battle Cry of a Teen...very essay, and Non traditional, yet Extreme! It is a great Piece, and never Rhymes.

Oh i didnt mean any disrespect. I do love the expressions you put in this. My favourite is
