Whisper bittersweet nothings in my ear
fog my mind so I can no longer see things clear
spread poison in my heart through your lies
feel free to unwrap your faithful prize

A vase of black roses on the nightstand
beautifully preserved by your very hand
the silken covers are blood red
upon the intricately carved bed

The dim, fading candlelight
has never felt so bright
you extinguish it with a blow from your lips
