Wonder
Don't wonder who I am
Or where i have been.
Don't wonder why that boy across the street
Is bleeding his heart out.
Don't wonder why some jokes never make sense.
Or why Chickens aimlessly cross the road
With a multitude of purposes.
Don't wonder why a tree grows
Or why a man loves a woman.
Don't wonder why life seems miserable to some
When it seems joyful to others
For the same reasons.
Don't wonder why we have to die
Or babies must be laid to rest,
Every night.
Don't wonder why blood flows so fast
When a killing blow is struck.
Don't wonder....
Don't wonder at all,
Just sit there and be...
Be all that you can.
Only ever wonder
Why you wondered in the first place.
Or where i have been.
Don't wonder why that boy across the street
Is bleeding his heart out.
Don't wonder why some jokes never make sense.
Or why Chickens aimlessly cross the road
With a multitude of purposes.
Don't wonder why a tree grows
Or why a man loves a woman.
Don't wonder why life seems miserable to some
When it seems joyful to others
For the same reasons.
Don't wonder why we have to die
Or babies must be laid to rest,
Every night.
Don't wonder why blood flows so fast
When a killing blow is struck.
Don't wonder....
Don't wonder at all,
Just sit there and be...
Be all that you can.
Only ever wonder
Why you wondered in the first place.
