wow....i don'remember ever having seen these old pix before...dear sister Renee (a non-FBer) sent 'em & i just loaded the disc today.......this one's a humdingalinger. At left, dear Dad, age40 (just months before saying he could no-longer tolerate having a communist living in his house, strongly hinting of potential violence to come)...& in the middle, dear Grandpa Pete, who, after one of Dad's rants about my being 'brainwashed by The Enemy', took me aside & offered me $200 (a fortune in '70), if i'd just get "a nice haircut - like mine...make yr Daddy happy"....i couldn't do it, but he was dead from uremic poisoning within a few weeks - i was the onliest one in the house who could tolerate sitting with him when he wanted to talk about his hallucinations of Grandma visiting him at night (she died in June, he died 2months later).....crazy times, indeed....so glad for the opp to come live wit Dad the last year of his life, forty years after this pictorial & fleeing in fear & broken heartedness b'cause of Mom...........
All of Human Life Is Insane - i can no longer 'relate' to why any of wants to stay here.. thank g'odd i died in that surgery 12yrs ago....'my' 21st century a mere hallucination.

you can say that again. missing your childhood is natural as long as you dont regret being born. nobody wants to be a hypocrite :P

The things that make us who we are. The people who make us who we are. If you look for what is the self it seems to be a whole collection of folks from decades ago still dreaming arguing and hallucinating inside our heads. What a flashback. What a trip.
