A GOAT DAY OUT

On the village green,
A jamboree there will be,
The wedding ceremony,
For all the village to see,

A marquee on the Grass,
Was a overwhelming glee,
The guests all dress there best

And the band plsys on,

Then a sobering old goat,
Tried to eat the bridesmaids feet,

And the band played on,

The best-man stud in nerves stead,
His speech held high above his head ,
That sobering old goat had not been fed,

And the band played on,

The children stood all around,
To see the bride in her gown,

And the band played on,

Bride and groom stood hand in hand ,
Jigging and dancing to the band,
that sobering old goat , ate the music notes,

But the band played on,

Then that sobering old goat he did stare at the BAND,
Silences struck
Like a burned out flam,
No one new what the goat would do,
Heed never been fed or so it was said,

And the band played on,

Then that sobering old goat ,
He ate the band,

Now time has long since past,
There has never been anther wedding on that grass,
I no what happend to the bride & groom ,
But am not going to say,
As that sobering old goat,
 IS LOOKING MY WAY.[/font]
