PIGMENTATION
My identity is deeper then the pigmentation of my
Skin, there is this brown soul within.
We walk these lands forsaken, our heritage taken.
There were demons of blue eyes, bringing sickness
and death with there lies.
We worked hard under the sun, now our children
die the way of the gun.
The pigmentation of our skin is brown, on the street
dying in our blood we drown. We bury our race and
tip beers, mothers make the sign of the cross and
shed tears.
We must adapt to this new world order, or we will be
always treated like we just crossed the boarder. I'm a
american of brown skin with pried, we demand our
dignity for all before us who died.
All over the pigmentation and the color of a persons
skin, you'll never see the beautiful us within. We are
people of color and pried, chicano power we cried.
