A Moment In Time

 Today, settled upon the winds of change
Stood among the rain and many strangers
Destiny, like a photo, had never been so clear
Like a sideways hourglass, time stood frozen
Fate has called and we've been chosen.

Entwined beneath the clutches of desire
Passion sews its fruitful seeds,
Alas, beneath the groans and gentle sigh's
Each fated kiss a reminder our heart's not torn
Our bodies are one and a new chapter is born.

Rejoice within happiness, no one can judge
To the world we are but a flame burning strong
Carrying a new memory inside every smile
But upon the eyes of many a kiss says it all
They're in love and they stand tall.

Hand in hand together, fitting like a glove
Reality has given meaning to the future
A road we both walk with the same body
Time it will take, through the low and the high
But the hardest thing of all was saying goodbye.
