Falling A Little Shy Of It

What do I see in her
That makes me feel this way?
A way I can't describe in mere words
Only feelings locked deep inside
I try to sincerely express them
But they swarm like mosquitoes
Biting me back, making me bleed
Draining me of certainty
Loving and touching with passion
Go no further than my words
Injecting false dimension
And chaos within our love
Hoping only to add complexion
But confusion breeds new fear
Breaching wounds long since forgotten
Revealing the pasts inner scars
Opening the door to deception
Casting doubts into our hearts
Exposing true and false intentions
Releasing trust from it's rusty cage
Trust conceived through confession
Like a child that comes of age
Discovering love in each place that it delves
Learning and unlearning things
About each other, about ourselves
But no matter what I learn of love
Somehow I am always a little shy of it
