Glass Man
Angels of his heaven send down a raging storm
Flooding the gates of hell with the weak and powerless
I resist
I will not back down
I've gone too far to give up now
Do you really think I would let go so easily?
I made a promise
For once I'll keep
I'm sorry I did this
The pain digs deep
Severing my soul
My mind spins out of control
I've suffered, so have you
This sick feeling called pain
Maybe its true
Maybe I'm insane
"To be or not to be?"
To be what?
I never really gave a fuck
Now I really give a damn
Where are you glass man?
Has your heart been shattered once again?

I agree with levi. This is a great poem. It is rather sad though.... which is pretty much all I read :) oh I've actualy read this several times since you posted it. I was trying to find the courage to comment.

A fantastic poem, Danii, and filled with a great deal of depth that may not be apparent to some who do not look deeper! You are an excellent poet, and this is one of my favorites of yours thus far.
