The cornerstone that is my heart

"Love I get so lost, sometimes
days pass and this emptiness fills my heart
when I want to run away
I drive off in my car
but whichever way I go
I come back to the place you are"

My beloved though walking on ground
Must be more then a common sound
For in her midst feeling so unique
And a calling at it's peak

From were I started questions swirled around
Would one so true ever be found
A perfect clearing blew the maze away
And brought her charms along my way

"I know my love by her way of walking
And I know my love by her way of talking
And I know my love dressed in a dress of blue
And if my love leaves me what will I do..."

Because of her my demons were cast aside
Even stiller my foolish pride
In return a splendor never seen
Not a noble birth but yet a queen

"Sometimes I wonder why I spend
The lonely night dreaming of a song
The melody haunts my reverie
And I am once again with you
When our love was new
And each kiss an inspiration
But that was long ago
Now my consolation
Is in the stardust of a song"

I love song for the kindred smile
Do I have the nerve to ask about the aisle?
That day all know we are to be
The sublime kiss that matches the sea

The water in it's power can't be denied
Washing over castles with relentless tides
So to that kiss symbol to last
Future made ready put aside the past...
