-------------------------------------------------------
The sun is setting on the longest day
Fireflies and mist.
The bonfire crackles. The fields are sown.
The veil is rather thin.
A maiden of dark on the shortest night.
I'll stay until the dawn.
We'll raise a cone, pound a drum
and dance entrancing songs.
The wheel turns and time moves on.
But the heat and flames won't ever fade.
They just go someone else's way.
