Hold On Lisa Hold On Till Then

Lisa, do you know how bad I feel
For the truth I told became unreal?
I had to tell you
No matter what the cost
Friendship wasn't all I'd lost
My honor and my pride
Ran off in shame to hide
Because I lied to you
ALL ALONG, All Along, all along

Lisa, what if we began again?
Do you feel that you could be my friend?
After all my lies
Would you still believe me?
How close would you allow me?
Please don't let it die away
We’ll find another way
To become friends again
So hold on till then, hold on till then

Lisa, why should you trust me this time
When even this song can't trust it's own rhyme?
Battling within me
That's just the way I am
Embracing the words I damn
Am I a hypocrite
For faults that I admit?
Guess I'm not so perfect
Guess I'm still in love, still in love with you
