Image for the poem "till death do us part"

"till death do us part"

dont suffer my love
come crawl inside
its not to late
my veiled bride

my masuoleum
has room for two
till death do us part
when i married you

look at my coffin
my favorite color black
come kneel beside me
 let the memories come back

i am the catalyst
for your visionary quest
stop crying my love
remember my best

your draped over my coffin
the hinges rusty from your tears
you know i love you so much
and i told you for years

you cannot let go
and neither will i
i promised long ago
till the day we die

your visits are cherished
and your never alone
i'll always be waiting
in this fortress of stone

your always kind
when you have something to say
though i have no breath
you always take it away

come to me my love
let us renew our vows
dont even question
the where and hows

just seal the door
to my unlocked crypt
then swallow the key
when the lid is flipped

look at me my love
take my hand with no fear
your smile is so beautiful
and i love you so dear

come lie with me my love
as you close the door to life
till death do us part
my dearly departed wife
