Until Forever

The NeverForeverLand Knight bows in reverence to the Princess of DreamsComeTrue,
takes an offered hand, plants the lightest of kisses upon it and an intake of breath he drew.
“My Lady, I promised to love you when our souls first met during the creation of time,
my devotion has endured throughout all my reincarnations, remaining perfectly sublime.
I have existed through centuries when I was unable to hear the call of your loving voice,
surviving alone, forsaking all temptations and comforts, unswervingly faithful to my choice.
We have met and renewed our vows countless times, and I ask that I be permitted leave
to recite them one more time, to swear my unending reverence for your soul to receive.

To you, my soul-twin, my essence, my life love,
in the presence of all the Gods below and above
I swear that I will only ever need to love just one,
and one alone until the course of time has run.
I will whisper your true name daily unto the sun,
pray nightly for your protection as the day is done.
I will remain honest in thought and pure in deed,
adhering to the binding contract of our Creed”
