The Boat of Naam
The Friend says,
"If you miss the boat of Naam
In this lifetime -
You are going to be asleep
For a long, long time."
The boat of Naam
Is the divine music
Emanating from God
On which the soul travels
On its journey back
To its true home.
(The Creator)
The soul becomes attuned
To this current of music
When one is initiated
By the Master of any current era.
This music then becomes
Audible through meditation.
If you miss the Friends
Boat of Naam
You might have to wait in line
Many lifetimes to obtain
Another human birth,
And another chance to know
Yourself and to know the Friend.
Dearest Seeker,
The Friend says,
"This is what you have been
Given this human birth for."
He further says,
"Do not waster this precious life
Pursuing mere seashells
And worthless sand -
When the divine jewel
Shinning with the light
Of sixteen noonday suns
Lies undiscovered in our bosom."
