Pools of Blood
You stand there
A calm look
Upon your face
Blood dripping from your hands
As my heart lies beating
At your feet
A blade rests
Unsteady in my hand
While blood is pooling around me
As I slowly die for you
But only we shall know
Why I am dead
And no pain
Will ever touch you
As you will have no guilt
To feel
