The Raven's Cry For Annabel Lee

What would one do for a love like no other?
Would you drink poison or dare to smother?
He cut through the stomach with the quickness of a blade.
Stuffed a women up the chimney and left in a hurried rage.
The red death showed his face at the masquerade ball
Took the man's love with hopes he would fall.

"Annabel Lee" he cried out, but he couldn't save me.
Washed away by the sea
Trapped in a coffin,
I couldn't break free.

Walls closing in
Smothered under the floor boards
Heart starts to beat faster
Giving up hope
It was love we were after.

The confession was hazy, having drank the poison
Clawing through the box
Cold and hopeless.

My love is withering
He is helpless now.
Breaks through the box that is keeping me captive
We share a kiss that I wish would never end

The police arrive
I am free.
I wish this love would have lasted a bit longer.

As for my lover?
He has vanished like the stories he wrote.
Disappearing without a sound.
Where did he go?
Will I ever know?
