This has a certain charm to it. Short and sweet is a hard thing to pull off, but this resonates. My one comment would be that up to the word 'sex' its easy to get stuck in a rhythm when you read it, which I imagine isn't meant to be there. The only other thing is very English teacher of me but the last line should read 'as an afterthought'
