Garden Flowers
Tulips can’t be roses
Daisies can’t be red
Though all are born in the soil
Of the dewy sun baked flower bed
Weathering the rain
And the heat of summer sun
Burning overhead
Together
Bright as can be
Reaching towards the sky
Freshening the air
One reaches higher
Yet the other is never outshined
