Just Keep...
Just keep swimming
The water is deep or else you may sink to the bottom
Life is meant to be a never ending lesson so you better
Put those skills to good use so show them if you got ‘em
Just keep swinging
You’ll have to fight for what you earnestly believe
Learn to pivot and move like you have a smooth groove
Have your wits about you so that you'll never be as naïve
Just keep trotting
This journey is a grueling marathon and not a sprint
From time to time you’ll have to dash with fierce urgency
But in the long run your craft should leave a lasting footprint
Just keep writing
The human spirit is meant to thrive through harsh times
Share your verse with loved ones, strangers, with the world
And the universe will back talk to you by giving you some signs

I like the set up for each stanza, and how the poem is entitled. It shows consideration to using expressive format. You have nice, balanced principles and dualities in this, especially the swimming part. A metaphor that's captured nicely. One must swim if they're going off the deep end. The trotting part reminds me of running the patient race of faith, of which I've been recently thinking of as well. Those two stanzas really jumped out at me, just on a personal level. The overall poem is excellent. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much Connotation. One of my co-workers had a small sign at her desk that said just keep swimming so I was inspired by that. We work with college students and many of them struggle with a lot of things.
