they sunk into you their snide remarks�
attacking relentlessly
damaging the person you are
at one time they were monsters
now they aren't even that
they moved on into their clicks
forgetting the shit things they've said
but you never forgot
no, it's like yesterday those feelings

diving into your hobbies
you still long for some kind of purpose �
too afraid to even move forward
to do so my leave you vulnerable
and vulnerability is painful
even though I can't change your view
or make right the past
I want you to know i'd never do that�
could never turn my back in that way

your mind plays tricks
has you believing you're invisible
don't listen, just hear my voice
look at me, and know that I care
when I say I love you, I mean it
you're not invisible to me
you're everything in my eyes
and I will devote all my time
if only I could make you believe
