Look for me. Who knows. Maybe I’ll be the next JK Rowling….
I have a book on Amazon but it’s currently unavailable. If you Google my name along with “The Weight of a Man,” you can find it. The description and back cover info. don’t match. I was editing when I abandoned, but I did sell 24 copies.
It’s also my memoir, but I was too embarrassed at the time to say so. I was overmedicated and full of shame. It’s sexually graphic and all the names are changed. It’s not my best work, it needs a lot of work.
I’m thinking about rewriting and releasing as a prequel at a later date.

You should do that, Mary. Rewrite it, if it feels incomplete deep in your being. It's a second chance. I'm on my second chance, or fourth if we're honestly keeping count. lol. Point is you can do anything you put your mind to. I believe in you my friend. Appreciate you.

No piece of work is ever abandoned, Mary, it just grows and can change with time if we take it along with us. Happy to know you found another site.

And I agree, you should revisit the prequel - if that feels like a time & place you want to dwell for a while. It's not always easy to go back... but if the time is right, it could be great healing. And of course we'd love to read it!
