A Vow of Devotion - for a friend's marriage ceremony

In the hush of this cherished night,
They'll step into a harmonious embrace,
A dance of hearts, a sacred rite.
 
And so, it begins, each gesture, a vow of devotion
In his gentle pressing he seeks to  
honor and cherish his new wife.  
And she, with grace, responds in kind,
Sharing the depths of her affection,
As the animals at their core fulfill
a timeless covenant with the
Mother of all creation.
