Valentine's day sucks
For those who are alone..
Just like me.. 
So I'm writing this poem. 

My friends laugh
And call me stupid.. 
Because I'm not a big believer
In the one called cupid! 
 
I've been on some sites
And I'm still looking.. 
So If I sound interesting
Let's do a booking! (go for a date)

I'm a hopeless romantic
To the core..
 And the more you get to know me
My feelings will outpour

So if you're looking for someone
Who's tall and handsome
Please let me know,
I won't charge a ransom.. 

You don't have to be perfect
I'm not looking for that..
 I will treat you with respect
But I'd prefer you're a Democrat.

I'm looking for a woman
Who's got a pretty face
And the rest of your body
I'll happily embrace!  

I don't want perfection
I don't mind a few flaws..
I just hope
That you're not going through menopause!

I'm not too old, 
But I'm no spring chicken
Just show me some affection
And I'll be totally smitten!
