but every moment
with you feels like
a new adventure
no matter how
big or small it is,
as we watch
many climb up a
golden escalator
throughout both
our lifetimes
i'll turn my head
towards you, slow
blinking our secret
little message with
a smile on my face
knowing I will never
finish falling in love
with you, as your
name leaves my
mouth warm
and tender.

this is so beautiful I have been fortunate to have this deep level of connectedness when I was a child with that special friend and also as an adult in love 💕
