Lament Of The Forsaken
In moonlit halls where shadows weep
A heart once full now lost in sleep
Her touch like fire now cold as stone
Her love once pure forever gone
He waits amidst the hollow night
A soul consumed by endless plight
For love that burned then turned to ash
A dying flame a bitter crash
The roses bloomed where she had stood
Their petals dark with signs of blood
And though he calls his voice a plea
She’s but a ghost in memory
Her eyes once bright with whispered dreams
Now haunt the world in shattered seams
Her kiss like poison on his lips
A taste of loss that slowly drips
Still in the silence he shall roam
A lover seeking but no home
For love though lost will ever stay
A shadow in the heart’s decay
In haunted whispers night shall scream
For love that was and love that’s been
And though the soul may never rest
The heart shall mourn though love’s possessed
A heart once full now lost in sleep
Her touch like fire now cold as stone
Her love once pure forever gone
He waits amidst the hollow night
A soul consumed by endless plight
For love that burned then turned to ash
A dying flame a bitter crash
The roses bloomed where she had stood
Their petals dark with signs of blood
And though he calls his voice a plea
She’s but a ghost in memory
Her eyes once bright with whispered dreams
Now haunt the world in shattered seams
Her kiss like poison on his lips
A taste of loss that slowly drips
Still in the silence he shall roam
A lover seeking but no home
For love though lost will ever stay
A shadow in the heart’s decay
In haunted whispers night shall scream
For love that was and love that’s been
And though the soul may never rest
The heart shall mourn though love’s possessed
