Between Yesterday and Tomorrow
I know it won't last
laying here naked
not wanting to move
crying a little
for the passing of time
gone, gone the second I plan
living for tomorrow
instead of today
Laying naked
exposing my soul
letting peace invade my body
my spirit walking
in the sky
floating through clouds
getting chilled
from cumulus dew
Laying naked
just because I can
there's no rhyme or reason
for moments of joy
and I weep
when they pass
even as I lose myself
in the serenity
existing
between yesterday and tomorrow
