The World Out There
Diana Rose sings in the house she's always been in:
I wonder what's out there
for me.
I'm here in this nice house,
no way out.
I just wanted to see
if there's anything for me
out there
where the sun shines on the other side.
I wanted to see
if I can truly be me
if I can truly find peace
anywhere but here.
If I can truly not be afraid
of what life throws my way,
if I can handle it all on my own.
I wonder if there's anywhere
for me
that isn't what I already see
in the world out there.
I wonder what's out there
for me.
I'm here in this nice house,
no way out.
I just wanted to see
if there's anything for me
out there
where the sun shines on the other side.
I wanted to see
if I can truly be me
if I can truly find peace
anywhere but here.
If I can truly not be afraid
of what life throws my way,
if I can handle it all on my own.
I wonder if there's anywhere
for me
that isn't what I already see
in the world out there.
