The Masks Of The Deep

They say the pacific ocean is clean.
On the surface,it does redeem.
Whales,sharks as people fish.

The water looked nice and clean.
Like no evil has been there at all.
Like it was always clean.

And it never had its one big fall.
Like a fish does swim and a crab crawl.
We enjoy the sights of all kinds of fish.

Some endangered ,too.
The surface of the water looked clean.
But the human eye it does fool.

Because deep down, the ocean can be dark.
If you just swim deep.
And your sanity, you try to keep.

You will find all sorts of woe.
Like secrets buried.
Your vision,blurried.

You cannot believe.
And neither can I.
It can be an unbelievable sight.

It comes from our instinct to fight.
The darkness and beyond the throne.
So the ocean can be clean again.

Even deep down.
Let us unravel the secrets.
And try not to drown.

As you find out the surface is a lie.
You swim with a frown.
And soon you find the lost secrets,in the shape of a crown.

The crown makes you realize.
The sadness,behind one's eyes.
Their woes,hidden away.

With hopes to be understood someday.
Like a game we play.
As we ignore our problems and run away.

Now you see,diving deep.
That not everything is as it seems.
Deep down the ocean,ocean blue.

Develops a darker,more sinister hue.
I know deep down,everyone hides.
The things they think about on lonely nights.

Not all oceans are clean.
And some need help to redeem.
But we swim away anyway in our dreams.

Following the kinder,more gentle streams.
As anew day comes and sun beams.
Healing,support - it carefully cleans.

Our hearts grow and kindness redeems.
Sunrise shines, people swim.
No matter what the ocean's been.

Some oceans are dark blue.
Some have a redder hue.
Some oceans are rivers,too.

Connecting to other oceans blue.
Some have a golden hue.
Let us swim together this afternoon.

As the ocean cleans and flowers bloom.
Hopefully you get cleaned,soon.
On a lovely,Sunday afternoon.

Author's Note
A poem about how deep our emotions can get in the depths of our sea.
""They say the ocean is bright blue.
But some have a darker hue.
If we just clean it well.
It's shine and sparkly like a bell.""
