Destiny Blinded by the Fog of Psychosis
I will find the way.
A path I’ve once trodden
blanketed with fallen leaves
now smoldering red and black.
This path I’ve trodden
is a cursed one with an uncertain end.
Up ahead this path darkens and fogs.
With beating heart and sweaty skin
I have always proceeded forward
into my own unknown both present and future.
I enter, consumed by the fog of psychosis,
the blackness just beyond that ahead,
perhaps death? Hell? Reincarnation?!
Perhaps beyond the black is the womb
of my next mother and then the womb opens,
and I for once see the light of Heaven -
the light of beauty! All scars and memories
of this past life vanished! And now, I can breathe
and scream into this world finally with conviction.
