Flags
I see an American flag
and I cringe
An Israeli flag
and I cringe
A British flag
and I cringe
An Australian flag
and I cringe
A Hezbollah, Hamas, Russian flag.
What's the bloody difference.
Flags assist and exist in keeping us all seperate.To reinforce a uniqueness when in fact there are none.Arbitray borders, placed on a map by the powerful,the vengeful,the greedy define nations and the people who live there in.
Burn the flags
Erase the borders
Allow human capital to move around the world as easily as money does.
We can do this but we'll need to burn the whole house down first.
To start again.
To make a fairer world , not a perfect one.
Australia. I'll call it my country for convenience,has just passed some immigration laws in the dead of night, that mirror those of most other totalitarian regimes.America, the land of the cowards and the home of the incarcerated is winning the race to the bottom.Others are following.
But
Remind yourself.Not all Americans,Not all Russians,Not all Hezbollah,Not all humans are bad.The folks that run the show might be.
It's time for the 'meek to inherit the earth'.Why should they have to wait for the next life when the 'turds' are enjoying this one.
Western democracies human rights desecrations are just more nuanced than the others and I'm afraid I might be complicit in those desecrations, those violations.
I really should stop reading the morning papers.
I propose all current flags to be put away and replaced with one, for all of us.,

You really got the nail on the head..there's good ppl in every walk of life..from color of their skin their age gender religion and where they were born..good ppl around the world..and governments/the establishment tells us to not like not trust despise..they create a boogeyman to be our enemy..and why..so they can lie steal and manipulate us into following their direction while padding their wallets..we truly are 1 ppl..instead of focusing on the 99 out of 100 good ppl we see every day we are brainwashed to focus on the 1 that was different or rude or whatever.. hopefully one day that changes..but hope is not a strategy
