Hello
God
We're told you love us
but clearly not us all,and
for that reason and that reason alone
I find it hard to accept your existence.
It's just beyond my senses to
believe you would willingly sit by
watching people suffer
watching people die.
Tough love from a tough God.
If humans have humanity
what is it that you have
Godmanity?
Churches,cathedrals, politicians,
nasty humans spruiking your name
praying to you at night
dropping bombs in the morning
they seem to survive alright.
You just can't exist
in the way we're told you do
show your face
defend yourself
you fraud
we need to believe in something better than ourselves
but a belief is not the truth
is it?
A child should never fear their father.
Im no longer a child of yours
I no longer fear your vengeance
If you exist show your face
You need to save this human race.
Take offence if you must
perhaps smite me now
I'll see you in heaven
you damned sacred cow.

We've both been to hell and it wasn't that pleasant.
I've called him worse and I don't think he minded.
I was in the Catholics school system for 12 years and only one priest inspired.He said that any believer has to challenge their creator,ask the creator some tough questions....which I still do.
What he didn't tell me was that, the same person asking the questions answered them.... ME
