Gravitating towards great despair
Rushing headlong without brakes
A selfish heart without fruit to bear

Yeah, it seems as though bitterness consumes the modern human spirit. Whether jealousy, envy, lust, hate, deceit, people's motives get misconstrued. If only an impassioned heart could be humble enough for true equality. When I say equality, I mean, pride removed. We all really need each other and standing alone or independently only ruins lives. Such is the self and evil motivation it gains. That can be said FOR EVERYONE! It truly is the bane of our existence - selfishness in the heart. Anyway, nice, short and sweet poem here. Your musings seem to guide you into topics quite well. Thanks for sharing, and I'll see you around.
