Sunrise, Sunset
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I will fear no evil
For You are with me
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me
Lead me always to the light as my breath at times may become shallow
Bless over my mind when my words are too weak to manifest upon my delayed swallow
Receive me, thy Lord, as the cord of my life returns to the cocoon of my existence
My astral traveling, a star dust in the stratosphere interwoven of many placentas
I have been reborn, may Deja vu moments allow me to connect the comfort of my rebirth, in the recognition of its orbital earthly christening
My Lord, prepare my temple as I wallow in the end
Allow me to feel your assurance in the wind
My Creator, I have faith, I have loved, I have birthed from the passage of my womb
Embrace my discomfort in the height of pain, as I just ask for rest when time slowly looms
Give me more days, my footprints to imprint the sand
The strength to smile, as I continue this journey of self-love, hold me steady when I can no longer stand
I am here, I believe in miracles as life and rebirth, in its salvation, an eternal Crown promised to every child, woman, and man
My sacred soul, you will receive as the calling of the new Dawn, my Sunrise and Sundown
From the satisfied seeds of my DNA, the lineage of my generations shall continue on
The lessons taught under the matriarchs of my family, will always be the reflection of their mother's Psalms
I do not know what awaits on the other side
Draw solace to be a treasure among the skies
They tell me the Pearly Gates, take that feeling with you each day
Always find the time to pray
I may not remember my voice once spirit asunder from my soul
My Homecoming welcomed by loved ones of old
I have the battle in me, when I get weary may my incantations still flourish from my mind
When I close my eyes, I hear those Heavenly Chimes
I was wo-man, unto man's rib, my body shall now commence
The universal reward as you, become one with the wind
For the time I learned from the cradle to cry, my feet upon the paths I have carried my cross to bear
Upon my beauty, I have loved, and unto others, always been fair
The birds I hear chirp
Towering trees swaying in the breeze, my life cocooned in the essence of its humbled earthly worth
Did I love and abolish the conformities of hate
Bowed my head when unforeseen events thrown in the path of my fate
Never strayed from my beliefs
Tried, true, this too shall pass from the honor of salvation as my body grieve
I can tell you no more pain, and tears shall be dried from the eyes
My Creator, can you console my mind when I take my final breath
From thy vessel, into spirit, into cosmic matter, a soul unto the womb time has never met
This too shall pass, unto my Creator, I am asking you to remember my soulful confessions when the dust of my bones do not have the dialect for me to atone
Bless over me as the Angels harken to prepare for my Heavenly rest, my spiritual home
I need your illumination to lead my soul
Do I bow my head and say a prayer as God already knows
He allowed my placenta to honor Mother Nature, as I have loved, given compassion, as a woman, mother, wipe tears as I have consoled
Gave until my King, my love, and covet him in my beautiful rose
The laughter in my child’s smile, the voice under my command
A mother's love cherishes her life, her home, her faith, her wisdom instilled to carry on her life’s plan
There is never an end to a soul, our reminisce is found in telling of our life stories
Rebirth is only a higher existence, where you shall be gifted, in that in divine glory
Keep your faith, smile, and may the Creator continue to keep you ..
I will fear no evil
