Sacrificial Monolith
Beneath the moon’s unwholesome light
Where shadows coil in endless night
There stands a stone of blackened hue
Carved deep by hands no man e’er knew
Before the Slavs, before the Magyar’s tread
A race debauched, both damned and dread
Did rule these lands with rites obscene
In homage to their shadowed queen
They danced beneath the gibbous moon
To pipe and drum, their foulest tune
Their bodies writhed, unbound by grace
A beast-like, dark, forgotten race
Upon this stone their rites did burn
Where life and flesh to ash would turn
Their witches screamed, their altars bled
To call the gods that men have fled
No earthly faith their hearts could sate
They turned to powers cruel as fate
The Dark One’s name, they dared intone
And cursed the stars with sigh and moan
The winds did howl, the forests died
As Yoggoth’s light did fill the tide
And through the veil, their masters came
In forms no tongue of man could name
Their children bore the marks of sin
With hollow eyes and twisted grin
The race dissolved to filth and flame
Forgotten now, save in their shame
Still lies the stone, its curse alive
Where whispers of its past survive
And those who tread this blighted place
Shall find no solace, no embrace
O seeker, turn thy gaze away
From blackened stone, from cursed clay
For here the witch cults raised their cry
And damned the earth, the sea, the sky
Where shadows coil in endless night
There stands a stone of blackened hue
Carved deep by hands no man e’er knew
Before the Slavs, before the Magyar’s tread
A race debauched, both damned and dread
Did rule these lands with rites obscene
