Three little red lines
sitting neatly in a row.
Three little red lines
bleeding out the monsters inside.
Three little red lines
winding tightly around my wrist.
Three little red lines
screaming obscenities at the sky.
Three little red lines
holding hands with the devil.
Three little red lines
crying on newly cleaned sheets.
Three little red lines
apologizing to their keeper.
Three little red lines
concealed perfectly with one tan bandage.

I don't know what the red marks symbolize but I am curious. . .Maybe self-inflicted wounds? Great job, BreakingSpirit. Enjoyed it!

Yes, they represent self-inflicted wounds. I was debating using "little red marks" or "little red lines" but I wasn't sure which way would make it more clear, and I was really tired when I wrote it. And thank youuu
