Rocket Red Glare
Rocket Red glare
Baby just out the oven
She says grab a rifle
Small precious mirrors
Of our sins
Bathing in the school halls
Of our own blood
How did we approach
This moment for our kids
God is watching
All these hypocrites
She should be playing
With a sparkle pony
Instead momma
Says grab the shotgun
Fireworks spark a fire
In Indian lands
Carved into our narrative
Four stone heads
Standing above the land
If I can’t protect my kid
Rely on thoughts and prayers
Sorry situation to be in
Money and guns talk
In America
Baby just out the oven
She says grab a rifle
Small precious mirrors
Of our sins
Bathing in the school halls
Of our own blood
How did we approach
This moment for our kids
God is watching
All these hypocrites
She should be playing
With a sparkle pony
Instead momma
Says grab the shotgun
Fireworks spark a fire
In Indian lands
Carved into our narrative
Four stone heads
Standing above the land
If I can’t protect my kid
Rely on thoughts and prayers
Sorry situation to be in
Money and guns talk
In America
