Life's Ride

How many hungering heartbeats
until your life has flown bye?
The ecstatic events are just
a flash in time.
And the painful days
compose an immortal rhyme.
Let me ask you.
Did you take life's ride?
Don't lie.
In defiance of gravity,
to fill your cavity,
and feel acutely alive.
In the heat of my mind,
memories swelter.
Begging for the heart's tender shelter.
Destiny's fragments fall from a starry sky
Learn to live without the stalking question why.
Your evolution wants a surprise.
