Image for the poem Trees

Trees

In green forests of solitude and isolation
When thoughts were so hard to get on
A tree, glistening, raining
Silently, in the dark
Sunlight captures it
Framing beauty
into essence privately seen
In those mere moments
Tempted to defy it,
In worlds that have seemed so cruel
In green forests of solitude and isolation

Author's Note
I like to fall down drunk against trees at Reid Park, an look around an write... things.
Yeah, I am not a good drawer, that is supposed to be a tree with sunlight shining through in the park or forest.
