Turn in the Road

Dearest Friend,

Is that yet another parched
Desert patch
That I must cross
Before another spring blooms
Again?

On the Friends pathway of love
We pass many a desert stretch
Of wilderness
Before we come to yet another
Delectable springtime.

And so on and on and on -
Desert, Spring, Desert. Spring
Desert, Spring.

However -

Each springtime is more loving
And more delectable
Than the one before it.

And -

Each turn in the road
We are brought closer and closer
To the Face of God.
